I think I spent more time fishing this month than anything else since it’s Steelhead season..but I did spend 25 hours playing online poker for the month of October. I played mostly 6 seated No Limit Hold’em (at $100NL which is classified as small stakes poker) at several of the well known online poker sites. I play anywhere from 4 to 9 tables simultaneously depending on how many good tables I can find. Finding good tables with bad players that you can exploit is a key component of being a winning online poker player at the small stakes level. Pretty grinding stuff (boring) but it helps make extra spending money. I can do it in the comforts of home and do it whenever I feel like playing for a few hours so it’s very convenient. I run a poker tracking software that tracks every hand I play online. I pulled the data for October from my tracking database.
$1300 profit for about 25 hrs of play which equates to about $50/hr. The poker tracking software is not smart enough to figure out that I am multi-tabling so the hours played and money won per hour is not accurate.
